RE: POP3 / Substring Functoid issues

Thanks - the substring functoid has now been corrected such that it will behave correctly if only two parameters are supplied, and we also found an unfortunate fixed reference to C:\Pop3Data as a temporary folder in some third-party source code we are using to parse MIME email attachments that we've worked with them to remove. Apparently this latter issue was largely harmless, although email processing may fail if there is no C: drive or the SmartsIntegrator service does not have write access to it. Both fixes are in 1.3.019, now available for download, and I have just tested email attachment processing, and aside from this issue it is working to specification.

Thanks,

Ben.

POP3 / Substring Functoid issues

I setup an email receive port, and the attachment populated in C:/POP3Temp directory, not the directory I had specified. Is that hardwired? Also, I don’t believe it processed in my map.
One other item of note: In the substring functoid, there is an option to not give a total number of bytes to use if one wants the remainder of the string to be passed. However, I am required to give a value or the functoid complains. I do believe I also attempted to use the string value, but I don’t think that was accepted either. I set an arbitrary value, and that certainly worked. However, if I wanted to exercise the option, I’m not certain how to do that.

Thanks, J
