Hi Mike

At present tokens can only be embedded in the filename, user, server/directory and password parameters in the manner you indicate. There is no current support for setting the binary mode from with a Workflow, though we can easily add this if you – could you please let us have some more information about your scenario and why this needs to be a variable rather than fixed on the port so we can advise or tweak the software accordingly?

Note that release 22B will be available for download later today, correcting the stored procedure and Workflow save issues you reported on Wednesday.

Thanks again,

Ben.

Controlling FTP settings from a Workflow

Ben,

Sorry to be a pain...One other thing...Are all properties exposed and can be set through the message property syntax?

As an example, suppose I wanted to set the FTP Mode to Binary from within the workflow - What is the actuall property name that I would set and is there anyway to determine this (I assume its not simply whatever the label is in the Port configuration?).

Presumably, if its just a text field in the port configuration, you can set any message property and just use this e.g. OutgoingMessage["MikesProp"] = "blah" and then in the Port Config you can just use %MikesProp%?

Thanks in advance for the support

Mike
