Hi Mike

The token replacement is certainly fixed, and I’ve just tested it again. Could you please try again with 1.3.023 (which will be released tomorrow), and if the problem still recurs please send over a sample exported project illustrating the issue if at all possible.

We’ve fixed an issue with the synchronous fault handling, and this should now work correctly in version 1.3.023. Note the for the synchronous setting to be honoured the port must run on the same physical machine as the Workflow – this means enabling it on all servers that can run Workflows. Also the port itself needs to be enabled.

The FTP password issue has also now been fixed – thanks for finding this, it explained about 5 similar issues from other users that we were struggling to isolate.

Regarding the HTML email, currently this is set automatically if the token or is found in the message body. Is this sufficient for your requirements, or do you require additional control?

Finally, in relation to SFTP, I assume you are configuring this via the Advanced FTP transport? What connection parameters do you have available, and how are you configuring this? Is the FTP site publically available, and would it be possible for me to try and connect from here?

Much appreciated as always, and thanks again for your patience,

Ben.

(1) Hi Ben,

I am running 22c but the token replacement still does not seem to be working. Was this fixed in 22c?

I need to get this going in the next few days so please could you let me know what the status is – If it is fixed, I may need your help to track down why the replacement is not occurring.

Thanks in advance

Mike

(2) Hi Ben,

I have set the Tracking options on my child port to send synchronously.

I have fault handling on the workflow and I have also tried a fault handler around the send shape however whenever a message gets suspended due to delivery failure, no exception is generated and bubbled up to the workflow as I was expecting to happen?

One other question, I have a SFTP Server running but I can’t seem to connect to it….In the FTP log, I am getting the error SSH_MSG_KEXDH_INIT reply – failed to verify hostkey. I can connect to the SFTP server using Tunnilier with no problems (www.bitvise.com/tunnelier

(3) Hi Ben,

Sorry…Another minor bug…If you put a token in to the password field in the FTP send port, all works well but if edit the port and then just press ok, the dialog says its going to use the Username for the passoword…..i.e. Unable to access FTP folder with user %FTPUsername% and password %FTPUsername%... Not quite sure If it this then gets persisted incorrectly or its just the message that’s not correct..….I can check this tomorrow

(4) Hi Ben,

Not a bug this time but a question. The e-mails we send have and HTML body but they are coming through as plain txt. I am assuming that there is no way to switch the BodyFormat but can you confirm?

If you cannot, is this something we can get on the short term wish list as we really could do with this in the next few weeks (although the other issues are more important)

Any update on the other issues – specifically the e-mail token replacement and SFTP issue?

Thanks in advance for your help

Mike
