Hi S
How strange – your port settings look fine, and I’ve just been through the tutorial from start to finish and all is fine.
I’m sorry to have to ask obvious questions, but before we proceed to the next stage, could you verify :
(1) Whether there are any errors in the Tracking log. To see this, click Tracking in the Explorer Tree. Then ensure the time range encompasses a period when you have been running SmartsIntegrator with a file in C:\FilesIn – if in doubt set it to a large range. Then select Severity Filter ‘All’ and click ‘Search’. Please send details of any errors or relevant messages back to me.
(2) That the Server assigned to the Port is running. To check this, click Servers in the Explorer Tree. Then ensure the BIZTALK server has a status of ‘Running’ (this may take a few seconds to populate). You should also verify that a process called SmartsIntegrator_BIZTALK.exe is running.
(3) That the Receive Port is enabled. To check this, select the Port in the Explorer Tree, and verify that the status is Enabled.
(4) That the BIZTALK server runs on the same physical machine as the C:\FilesIn folder that you are putting the files in.
(5) That the account under which the BIZTALK server runs has read and delete access to C:\FilesIn.
If you’re able to provide remote desktop access, I’ll be happy to log on and isolate the problem myself – let me know.
Once again thanks for your patience and sorry that you’ve experienced a problem – we’ll get it resolved promptly.
Ben.
